Djokovic gets another free pass at U.S. Open; Osaka ousted

Sorry Osaka lost, but she is still pretty new to the scene and has a long time yet, we hope. She'll learn, as cracaphat said.

In any case, a whole lot of injuries... seems more than usual. And I can't help thinking Djokovic is luckier than usual with the timing because of his own injury -- he may well not perform as usual. At some point, though, he's going to have to play a worthy opponent, and we'll see then if he can keep it up (he already has won one, I know).

Madison was great ! Down 5-1 and two breaks in the third set, she dug deep for the effort and made an amazing comeback. She has an extremely bright future in the game. You go girl !
