What an unfortunate candid, even by sports' standards! Congrats to all who got through, and tough luck about Nadal and Williams. Good luck to those still left.

"No. 4 Kei Nishikori beat David Goffin 6-1, 6-2 and has lost 10 games in his three matches."

Sounds like they are saying Nishikori lost, but obviously not since he's advanced pretty easily thus far. Shame Federer couldn't join in.

Well no, Nishikori lost 3 games in this last match (6-1, 6-2 means he lost 3), and he'd have lost the other 7 games in earlier matches - while winning 12 games per match himself.

Fortunately Raonic who had been lined up to met Nishikori in a QF got knocked out by Isner. Isner is no slouch, but hopefully Nishikori can get past him and into a semi.
