Patience is a virtue, let the US justice department, and the FBI complete judicial process.
The US Attorney General Loretta Lynch gave a menacing hint into forthcoming events, summed up be acting U.S. Attorney Currie, 'Let me be clear: this indictment is not the final chapter in our investigation'. Disgraced former Fifa vice-president Jack Warner gives a taste of what's to come 'If I have been thieving Fifa money for 30 years, who gave me the money? How come he is not charged? Why only persons from Third World countries have been charged?'.......

Poorly, what Blatter means is that he is president of the poor and the rich nations and I don't see anything horrifying in his speech. I don't understand why most people don't see the real reason behind the sudden outcry of corruption from western european countries, England and the U.S., it is nothing but power struggle and fight to wrestle control of FiFA from Blatter who followed in the footsteps of his predecessor Joao Havelange to spread the game to every corner of the globe, with every country having the same vote and voice and the rich countries are furious that their multinational companies sponsor and swell FIFA yet the don't command greater influence and to add insult to injury they are overlooked as host for Russia and a small country like Qatar and Blatter bears the blame for the humiliation due to his drive to spread the game to every part of the globe and rotating hosting of the WC by confederation, The bidding of the 2006 WC was the most corrupt yet there was no outcry from the western European nations because the country on the losing end was South Africa. Platini voted for Qatar under instructions of the French gov't while Blatter voted against yet platini is not ashamed to talk about corruption in the qatar bid, who does he think he is deceiving. Wasn't corruption a two way street why have they arrested only those who received how about those that provided ? Greg Dyke talks about FIFA being corrupt. What a hypocrite! This is a man who was forced to return a Rolex watch he received from one corrupt organisation or David Cameron, demanding that Sepp Blatter must stand down, The same David Cameron who when England was bidding condemned the BBC’s Panorama five years ago for the journalism which exposed corruption in FIFA. Hypocrits and sore losers.

this is usa hipocricy. they dont want the world cup to be in russia for hate reasons. and now they decided to fine fifa officials. itsonlyrocknroll has good point to. in my opinion instead of him saying im the president of everyone should have said that usa shouldnt mendle in fifa's business cause its not their place to get involved.

Did any of ya guys say it's not the US place to get involved when the US Dept. of Justice filed charges against IOC members regarding Salt Lake Olympics bribery scandal?
Is anybody going to deny that the IOC and FIFA are corrupt organizations?
Do people expect that IOC or FIFA are capable of cleaning up themselves?

Better late than never.
Maybe they could have waited a couple days after the FIFA election, but it should still be done.
Corruption should not have an expiration date and let corrupt officials walk away.
(Certainly not just 11 years. Heck, the IOC keeps athletes' samples and could forfeit results for PED use a dozen years to the past. Corruption years shouldn't be any less than PED sample years.)
For his credibility sake (and that he already admittedly lied in front of the world), Putin should see that as a problem and not let himself be associated with a reknowned corruption-in-chief Blatter.
I don't think the US cares about the World Cup as much as the rest of the world do.
(Otherwise, how could they charge FIFA officials when everybody else is afraid to do it?)
