    Nagano jumps on the current bandwagon of anti-China spin. People are not stupid enough to cause violent demonstrations in Japan. If they do, then they know they can expect at least a month in a police cell. Known activists are not even going to get into Japan. This is just a political anti-China decision.

    But, but, but... aren't the Japanese police going to protect them? (After rejecting the Chinese police). And, and, couldn't they have the taiko concert anyway? Like a social event. And, and, who wants Beijing Olympics official goods anyway?

    I think they (the city officials) are just being big babies.
