Maybe he was a fringe All-Black, but it is telling that this Tuitavake kid took the massive wads of yen over possibly adding to his 5-test career with the All-Blacks. If he stays in Japan a few years he will qualify for the Cherry Blossoms. It is conceivable, with the enormous money floating around in Japanese Rugby - money NZ can't hope to compete with - that by the next World Cup, the Japan National Team could consist of an entire squad of All Blacks! If they purchase more Polynesian boys for the national team, Japan will become a real powerhouse.
