    I don't see why there won't continue to be players from Asia

    Asia means Japan too. Anyways, the best H.S. basketball program from Japan is from Akita Prefecture. Yuta Tabuse went to Noshiro H.S. in northern part of Japan. He came from Yokohama. Lin went to "Paly" H.S., another great program, in the Silicon Valley in the U.S. and the both programs had/have great coaches too, but they aren't cheap. Good luck finding a filipino basketball player from the Philippines. You're going to need a lot of support and money. It's not easy.
