Not much choice when they are now down to 8 teams and 16 cars. Have to have cars on the track.

This Cosworth engine is... optional? If you don't sign up by Thursday (yesterday) then you will have to build a Cosworth look-alike?

Well, if Honda and the other teams could have had some of that 80 million dollars Ferrari gets paid extra every year, (according to Bernie Ecclestone last week in reply to Montezemolo above) then maybe they could have stayed in.
Mods, if you think this comment is off-topic, please include the news about the huge kickbacks to Ferrari and how the other teams could really be using some of it.
