    IRB rules just need 3 years residency. the team is a Japanese team not a team of Japanese.

    The Japan National Team is essentially a "Pacific Team"...maybe they should be incorporated into the Super 15 to re-invigorate the concept? For home games, call the franchise the "Brave Blossoms" (keeps the Japanese fans happy), for away games: the "Pacific Islanders"...
