There was an article a while back in the vernacular press about how the average age of Hanshin players is the highest in both leagues. Pretty soon they will need walkers to make it to first base.

They really do need to work on bringing up some of the younger players. I have a lot of respect for some of the old guys that can play but let's face it, they aren't going to be be able to play for ever. Without some fresh blood, it will be a return to the dark ages for quite a while.
