I'll say this for Kotooshu: He certainly did look like a man among boysi n this tournament, and save the shifitness of Aminishiki, it would have been a zensho-yusho for Kotooshu. The way he beat Asashoryu and Hakuho was incredible! He threw them aroudn and played with them like a tiget with ragdolls! Here's hoping he can do it again in July, and become the next Yokotsuna!!!

As far as Hakuho and Asashoryu go, this is only the beginning, folks!!!

Asashoryu is a git. He always pushes his opponents out of the ring, clearly winning the match, and then gives them an extra shove into the crowd. There's no reason to do it, he's just a tossbag. Hakuho seems pretty mature but I think someone like Asa brings out the worst in everyone.

That would be that silly little tiff between Roho and Chiyotaikai a year or so ago. This was nothing.

Rosanne Barr will Play chiyotaikai, the tough leader of a bosozoku gang who finds refuge from his angry past in the climactic world of sumo. The choice of Rosanne Barr for the part is because of comparative breast size and because they are both slappers...

Roho will be played by the "bulgarian boy" kotooshu because of his movie star looks and loathing of noisy motorcycle gangs which interrupt his love making with a mass of dizzy starlets all night.

The movie will be directed by Hosomaki, commentary by Eastokyo, diatribe by Northlondon

Sarge, do you know Spartacus? He was a Thracian born in the lands of Bulgaria. Kotooshyu is a true descendant and incarnation of that Spartacus who put the Roman Empire at his feet. Also I think Bulgarians have some Mongolian blood. So with all this unique genetic material Kotooshyu is unbeatable.

Hmmmm.. not quite sure why Hakuho gets the same level of warning as Asashoryu. The aggression was purely started by Asashoryu, and Hakuho put an end to it with a quick, effective shoulder block. I guess the dignity and grace of being a Yokozuna includes having to take it when someone acts like a punk.

Can't wait to see Hakuho flatten Asashoryu in July!

Asashoryu didn't need to do the extra hand-check, as the newspapers called it. But Hakuho making it a habit of beating Asashoryu? I don't think so. Hakuho is a decent sumo rikishi, but Asashoryu is a LOT better....

You have to be silly to think kotooshu is on the same level as Hakuho or Asashoryu.I will be shocked if Kotooshou is able to beat either Asa or Hakuho for the remainder of this year.

My prediction Kotooshou will be back to 8-7 next basho, if not kodoban.

After Kotooshyu, my second favourite sumo wrestlers are Asashoryu and Hakuho. And Takamisakari too. Without them it is not interesting.

Speaking of Spartacus, I could see Kotooshu in the role. Hell, anything is better than John Wayne as Genghis Khan. About Asa, he sneaked in a slap in the face while Hakuho was giving the shoulder butt. It's pretty funny and kind of cute when you see it. And then the shrug afterwards seems to say "What's up with him? Ain't no thang." These are just overgrown boys naturally being themselves in the stoic world of sumo.
