Hakuho convincingly won against Kaio!? who writes these articles about sumo? It was not so easy for to win against Kaio.

So tomorrow Kotooshyu will meet Kaio. Kaio has no chances.

The princess is correct and the article once again best read after copious quantities of marijuana in order to make sense of it. Hakuho panicked a bit today but in the end gave Kaio a sumo clinic (what?).

The Yoghurt muscled out/ had a no-nonsense win/ was all business/ insert other vague meaningless phrase that indicates victory, over fellow ozeki and former bosozoku Chiyotaikai.

Speaking of meaningless, the final two days of this tournament. Asa should come back just to dent Hakuho's perfect record. But having said that, I doubt he could stop the Haukuho Express right now. Hakuho would probably even beat me given his form at the moment.

this man does not need to be yokozuna: http://www.sumobg.com/kootooshu/src/0.jpg he is more than yokozuna!

Congrats to Hakuho, and now all Kotooshyu has to do is win one of his last two matches and I won't have to cough up 4,600 yen for a case of Super Dry for Romulus. I believe he'll do it against Kaio tomorrow, but I won't be shocked if Kaio pulls it out.

Sarge, you play too safe - 50-50 chances. My bet is that kotooshyu wins 100%. Knowing Kotooshyu is as unpredictable as the quality of the yoghurt every day, that is risky.

    Trivial pursuit.

With this win in Nagoya, he has won all 6 major tournaments and is just the 10th fat man to do so (6-tournament system introduced in 1958). It took him just 14 tournaments to achieve this feat, bettered only by Mongolian king Asa and fat man Akebono.

    Who am I?

The answer is Hakuho you fools.

I would like to watch the fight between Kotooshyu and Hakuho. It will be the highlight of the tournament as Kotooshyu will send Hakuho in the audience, what an enjoyment it will be and how fun when it happens.

It's possible Hakuho may fall to Kotomitsuki today. It's also possible the Bulgarian gladiator will fall to Kaio today. But if I had to bet money, I'd bet on Hakuho and the Bulgarian gladiator to win their matches today.

Hakuho should get at least one loss and that would be from Kotooshju.

Thanks for the expert opinion, sarge. I am glad we are all clear on the possibilities now.

    I think Sarge is right.

sarge, romulus still wants to get paid. lets go double or nothing on Hakuo vs Kotooshyu. whaddaya say?

  • PrinceskaNo1 at 08:45 PM JST - 26th July

Are you going to celebrate anything, Romulus, with that beer? Because I am in mourning.
