Asa's foot was too close to call, but that didn't stop the judge. We have video now, so use it. Even that was not conclusive. Bout should have been replayed. But then someone's traditional cushy job might be at risk, so let's not use technology, and keep with tradition that gets it wrong.

Aminishiki really does suck. Third day in a row he's gone the henka, and today's was just a mess cos Hakuho knew the coward might try that one. No sale, and he was rightly shoved out.

Just make Ama ozeki already. And take the rank away from any of the current crop of mediocrity. Think this tournament will come down to an Ama versus Hakuho battle extravaganza.

Too bad Baruto is at 2-6. Will lose that komusubi rank before he gets settled in. But then again I think he wanted to lose today. Chiyotaikai couldn't believe how easy it was and watched in surprise as he tumbled out.

Well his sumo was less ugly anyway. Nice shove out of Tochinonada, he was just about to keep on going in to the change rooms but thought he'd better come back and bow.

How the hell did Roboretard lose today? He had Tokitenho in a very awkward position and ready to fall, and then snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. That's my boy. Have some cookies you showpony.

Really sad to see Asashoryu "lose" yet again. It was a perfect robbery from a judge. Asa's right heel didn't touch outside yet this judge blindly accused that it touched! Why do Japanese hate Asashoryu so much?! I thought sumo judges are pretty honest but they favor Japanese over foreigners. Lately, they talking about how Asa's performance is not that good and suggesting about "retirement" by "force." Asa is still good and he has capacity to compete another 5 years at least. Remember how many times Takanohana missed bashos and Sumo Association never forced him to retire. Please have some decency. And, forget about this "both hands touch" rule. Do something about "tachai henka."

this is just plain ridiculous...listening to the tv commentary in the evening about the "loss", they plainly skip over the FACT that it was not out and that Asa had been robbed by human error.

great way to lose more fans sumo kyokai...keep it up u old badgers and sumo will be dead in another generation.

he was robbed alright, 'they' dont like him and 'they' oddly enough get to be the judges. Sumo could be so much better, it's a joke at the moment.

classic robbery. Asashoryu is the man. Please, don't hate him and don't discriminate him. He is the most classy sumo wrestler ever. You have another 5 years ahead at least to compete in teh top division.
