I can't believe Kotooshu lost again already. I may have to pony up for a case of Super Dry...

Love Kotooshyu, winning or losing because he is a great wrestler and sooner or later he is destined to be a grand champion. Even as an ozeki, he is the most exciting man in sumo!

A sorry loss for Kotooshu. It seems that his right leg is bothering him. I know he will bounce back...

    Ama is doing just fine

"how much did kotooshu make on this loss"

Please spare us the yaocho conspiracy theories lol

Kotooshuu should lower his goal to kachikoshi for this basho.

He'll get his kachikoshi. Otherwise I have to buy a case of Super Dry for romulus. Hey, Rommie, that's going to break me - how about a case of Nodogoshi ha ha ha

    Hope he gets his kachikoshi.

But I feel the big days are over for him and Asa. Noticed it over the years once a rikishi starts sporting injuries and needs to drop out from tournaments they usually just hang on.

Quiet a few rikishi out there now that just try to maintain their ranks/status.

Kotooshu did well becoming the 1st european to win a tourney but honestly don't think he can reach Yokozuna level nor maintain/compete at it.

Asa did well but he is getting too many injuries recently.

You certainly do not understand the Balkan's spirit of Kotooshyu! One day he can be the most glorious and invincible wrestler, the next day he will lack the motivation to fulfill anything because the weather is hot and he is not in the mood. But nothing will stop him to be yokozuna. He just for now does not want to be one. If he starts to desire to become yokozuna, nobody will be able stop him. He is the sublime embodiment of the perfect wrestler, physically of course, not mentally but if he wants he can be 100% perfection.

sarge: this is theatrics in the guise of sports. no theories just the way things are done in sumo.
