Yoshinobu Takahashi, Yoshiyuki Kamie and Michihiro Ogasawara homered in three consecutive at-bats as the Yomiuri Giants broke out of a funk Thursday, snapping a five-game losing streak from opening day with a 6-5 win over the Chunichi Dragons in the Central League. Takahashi celebrated his 33rd birthday with a three-run drive with two outs in the seventh inning to bring Yomiuri within one before Kamei tied the game and Ogasawara hit his second homer of the night for the game-winner off Kenshin Kawakami (0-1) at Tokyo Dome.
In other Central League games, Hiroshima beat Hanshin 4-2, Yakult downed Yokohama 6-3, while in the Pacific League, Rakuten routed Lotte 9-1, Nippon Ham defeated Softbank 6-2 and Seibu edged Orix 4-3.

Darvish almost had another shut out going... but gave up 2 runs in the 7th. With all the runners on base in the 7th he did well to limit the runs to 2.

No mention of the fact that Rakuten have now won 7 games in a row, and are now top of the Pacific league? Who cares about Kyojin, we all hate them.

That was ridiculous - why did they leave Kawakami in after he dished up the first 2 pies? I was getting all excited for 6 Giants losses in a row.
Nice work by Rakuten...they'd be doing even better if it wasn't for a couple of unbelievable 9th inning losses to start the season.

For people interested in Pacific League. You can watch all the games live for free of charge on the internet.

You need to down load a software called BBroacast first. Then when you click on the 動画 (douga) button and you will be able to watch teams like Rakuten and players like Darvish live. The quality of the games are just as good as TV quality and they send unlike normal TV entire games from start to finnish.
I have been using this to watch the various PL games this season. Unlike G+ Skapa and ohter cable it does not cost you anything.
