Both Irish teams are through to the final 16, too, after Rep of Ireland 1 - 0 against Italy.

Buona giornata a tutti! #COYBIG, #GAWA

And now Iceland will face another manager who doesn't know his best team or best formation.

Good for Ireland - both of them

The thing about Iceland's breakaway game-winning goal in the 94th and final minute is - they could've walked that ball to their opponent's corner and just ran out the clock and settled for the 1-1 draw with Austria, thus finishing 3rd-place in the group and away from the world champions' half of the knockout rounds, while sending Cristiano Ronaldo and 2nd-place Portugal to go against England.

But fortunate for Ronaldo, Iceland didn't do that - Iceland went for their first-ever win on their first-ever Euro Championship. Plus, we would've been denied of this epic reaction of Iceland sports announcer Gummi Ben: lol

Minnows have had a terrific euro 2016 so far no question. And their fans who have been deprived of euro/wc finals for decades are making the most of it (Welsh, the 2 Irish and Icelandic supporters in particular). Don't think the french will feel at home when they play ireland on the w-e.

Dead right. Even England managed to win a game.
