    This is a HUGE change.

A change from playing in summer to playing through winter.

A change that will correlate it with the fledgling Australian A-League as well. Look to see the K-League follow suit in the next 5 years or so.

This could be really good for the football in this region.

We'll see if fans flock to see their beloved J-League teams in the freezing cold. I always wondered why Europe, especially England play throughout the winter season.

'cos we spend the summer watching our cricketers get thrashed against our former colonies.

That and the small matter of huge summer tournaments every other summer.
