This shows the huge disparity in business acumen between Japan's soccer and baseball leagues. Despite being way more popular and established, NPB has never gotten a deal like that (only the Pacific League has an online broadcast deal).

NPB has no interest in the outside world. They figure they've sown up the domestic audience and that's that. look at what MLB does in terms of securing a global audience and then at what NPB does, or doesn't do. Its night and day.

nobody, but the point is at least the J-league is trying to promote itself to a wider audience unlike baseball, which actually has a better product in terms of producing world-class players.
