...Japan just beat Oz in a three-game snoozefest. At this point it should be quite obvious: these tournaments (both men's and women's) are specifically designed to get Japan and its TV ad/cigarette sponsorship money into the Olypmics. Is it too early to start placing bets on how far from the bottom Japan will place in Beijing? Sarge, wanna venture a guess?! (BTW Sarge, we're all still waiting for your diatribe re: Japan beating Thailand... Japan had such an incredible height advantage, it hardly seemed fair!! lol)

Sorry for the above, Sarge, but you're just too predictable... Japan loses and you have a fit because the other team was so much taller; Japan beats a shorter team and you're as silent as the grave. Hahaha...

Snoozefest? Japan won the first set by 3 points and the next two sets by a mere 2 points. Australia had set point a couple of times in set 3. Pretty close match, actually.

...and BTW we're all still waiting for you to rip Japan a new one for being so darn TALL in that match against Thailand! The FIVB says Japan's average height is 190.26cm, while Thailand is a mere 176.67cm! Why aren't you angry, Sarge? It's all so unfair! Hahaha...
