Who cares? Japan has under-performed on the world stage, as is often the case. But the incessant media hype will begin again within a few months, whether they go 1-3 or 0-4. That's the cycle because it helps sell papers.

Gotta back Canada for this and JK has seen his last major tournament for Japan and he will never coach the ABs unless he has a super rugby franchise, time to go back to Auckland John, good luck and the Blues will really love you there. Kirwan has to win or the overrated label sticks and he gets the sack.I look for Team Japan to play with reckless abandon, of the kind their national football (soccer) team would do well to try sometime.
