    The Japanese women continued their winning ways against a surprisingly strong Puerto Rico, taking the match 3-1. Puerto Rico pressed Japan, taking the third set and leading in the 4th set.
    The match against Poland yesterday was too close for comfort, with Japan barely winning the 2nd set and dropping the 3rd set. Japan should thrash Kazakhstan Tuesday.
