"Japan pins Asian Games medal hopes on runners...cuz the swimmers have really let them down".

And once again the media is shifting it's expected medal pressure onto others after the previously expected didn't come through (as well as expected... ahem). They've already been whining about African players being scooped up by other countries, do they really think the Japanese runners will beat said Africans? We'll see. Best of luck to them. Despite some bitter losses it's been a pretty good haul so far. Let's see if they can improve it even more.

That was a tough loss for Nadeshiko Japan against the North Korean Ladies tonight. Disappointing for them, and their coach had the good grace to admit they lost to the better team. Heres hoping there is similar good grace and no more whining from Japanese/Chinese if any African-born asian wins the Marathon.
