Sorry Elleray, but the FA Cup doesn't even hold much appeal in the UK any more.
Also, the FA Cup is not world famous, despite them always insisting it is! I've lived in a few different countries and most people I've met (including football fans) have never even heard of it!

?? In 2009 approximately 500 million viewers in 180 countries watched Chelsea beat Everton. In 2005 approximately the same number watched Arsenal beat Man Utd. The Superbowl attracts between 100 million and 200 million globally (I believe the Superbowl record is around 190 million).
Another example of certain nationalities living in a goldfish bowl. You may only have met non-FA Cup fans in your life. But try visiting the African continent, Thailand, Vietnam, China and you will find your FA Cup fans. Football and the FA Cup final is a truly global sport. Unlike the SuperBowl.

The FA Cup certainly is world famous and the final is watched on TV by hundreds of millions around the world, more than the Super Bowl.

I enjoy it mainly for the possiblilty of upsets. Great to see part timers taking on the big boys and at times beating them.
Brentford is a nice little ground, good supporters.
