The departing coach who has had such a positive impact on the national team here in Japan had a few things to say about the administration of the game. T o adopt the name of an extinct species seems to be a decision that echoes his sentiments. As long as the game has dead wood such as former prime-minister Mori at the helm it will go nowhere.

At least they weren't named "Swallows"

San Urububuzu? A disaster for Japanese fans abroad.

I guess they learned from the "Brave Blossoms" name.

Yes, not very pronounceable in Japanese (san-urubuzu?), and not very meaningful in English. I suggest a rethink.

What a terrible name. Hello, there is no such thing as a sunwolf. Should have been a name with a Japanese connotation, at the very least. Embarrassing.
