As I have said before this is PERVASIVE throughout ALL of J-society! And has been since forever.

Ijime, sempai-kohai, coaching are far far too often just plain old violence, abuse, to even attempt to call these people "coaches" truly sick sick sick.

Last night on the idiot box they had a video of a kendo "coach" going around kicking & beating on students, was utterly sickening to watch, I wanted to jump into the screen & stop the jerk & give him a little "coaching"

This is a massive problem here, next time you read about some one going off their rocker stabbing people for no reason I bet if you dig a bit your lilely to find they were abused, vicious circle.

Glad I never grew up in Japan, its a bloody nightmare

Just watched the news where a Kendo instructor was beating the heck out of some elementary kids. All caught on video tape. His time is up.
