Waste of time and money.

Jforce, that seems to be an apt description for most political, and judicial, sideshows these days...

yeah right.. like any baseball player will ever do time over this complete farce of an issue. They could do random drug tests, but the baseball union won't let that happen.. at this point why don't they just say "take whatever you want to while playing, but don't come back to us expecting a pension when your body breaks down"

More talk should be about what is happening on the field today than Roger did I do it or did I not do it never ending battle with the courts. His name will be cleared, but so many will remember this long, drawn out affair!

He won the case, lost his reputation. He used just like bonds did, bonds also got off easy. They both have the bucks for the top lawyers to escape justice. Clemens is a liar, like so many others from that period of time in baseball.

Perjury is a serious matter, not a waste of time as many have posted. Unless you all embrace lying in court as being beneficial.

napoleancomplex,

After the Ryan Braun fiasco, under the new MLB drug policy, "there will be 1,400 random tests for performance-enhancing drugs during the season as part of the agreement, along with as many as 200 tests in the offseason this season, 225 in 2013-2014, and 250 tests in future years." And that will include HGH blood tests, the first time ever among America's 4 major sports leagues.
