    And I wonder if this is going to set him up for reinstatement... Does anyone know if a "DISMISSAL" is officially a total ban from the sport?

    "Dying"? Have you tried to get tickets to a sumo tournament lately? Good luck. Sumo and Asashoryu were headline news for weeks, sumo is no less popular than it ever was.

    Interesting. Does this not open the door for him to come clean about the bribes and whatnot??

    I agree that he shouldn't get any money but in the end, I think he's going to be banking on that book he writes - or gets someone to write.

    I doubt it is going to die anytime soon. It is these 'happenings' that stimulate new interest in the sport. (Did I say sport?)
