Good riddance. Koki, as well as his brothers, always fought in Japan and I always felt fought a bunch of bums with a sympathetic trio of judges at ringside. They also always had the home ring advantage fighting against non-Japanese.
Here, he was forced to fight in Chicago, in a more equitable environment, and he loses for the first time. Surprise, surprise. The Kameda brothers brought a black eye to boxing in Japan and glad to see this chinpira go.

Good riddance. I've hardly even been more disgusted than when I watched this clown go on Japanese tarento shows holding a picture of his brother and pleading that the ban be lifted, shedding a few tears and saying how wronged his brother was, but still sorry, etc. etc., and other celebs also tearing up and feeling sorry for him. Pathetic! His response to all of this? the claim that he has 'no regrets'.
Boxing is better for him having lost and having to quit. Again, good riddance.

I once met an NHK reporter who interviewed the family. She told me the father was polite to her but the brothers were very rude. Not a class act.
