SUMO
Kitanoumi re-elected Japan Sumo Association chief
TOKYO —
The Japan Sumo Association on Monday re-elected stablemaster Kitanoumi for a second term as chairman.
Ten directors, elected by more than 109 stablemasters and senior wrestlers, vote every two years to elect a chairman from stablemasters. This year, there were 12 candidates, Sankei Sports reported.
Kitanoumi served as chairman four times from 2002 until 2008 when he resigned to take responsibility for two wrestlers in his stable smoking marijuana.
After his re-election Monday, Kitanoumi told reporters that he will concentrate on moral education for wrestlers in order to win back sumo fans who have left the sport in recent years due to a number of scandals involving gambling, fixed bouts and drugs.

Bla bla bla bla bla.... until the next scandal. Only in Japan can you resign to 'take responsibility' then get your job back soon after. Nothing will change, save he'll encourage everyone to be more careful and not get caught.
