Kotooshyu is the best. Love him because he always shows kindness and respect to his opponents. I have the impression that he is noble, gentle and very modest. Sumo is not only about winning but about respect and ethical fights. Asasoryu is too arrogant to his opponents and maybe that is why he is not my favourite.
It is very unfortunate that Kotoosyu has to fight Hakuho tomorrow. They are very good friends. good luck to both of them, they both deserve to win.
Seriously, Kotooshu is looking in his best form since becoming an ozeki. He injured his knee almost immediately upon promotion, and he has either been ailing or otherwise out of form since. Now, a couple years later, the old Kotooshu reappears out of nowhere. Who would have thought?
If Kotooshu can handle Hakuho the way he did Asashoryu, he has a cake walk to the title. He would need only one win in the last three days to guarantee at least a playoff, and two wins in three days would seal it. And that would be with the two yokozuna already behind him.
So much for your prediction yesterday, Sarge!
Still, I will make a prediction today that Hakuho gives Kotooshu his first loss. Hakuho is in better form than Asashoryu this tournament, in my opinion, and Kotooshu will have a greater challenge.
Kotooshu's biggest opponent is himself. I hope he can keep his head together to yusho. I agree with Mikey that the bout with Hakuho will be the deal breaker. If he can pull it off, his confidence will skyrocket. If not, then he will remain an ozeki forever like Chiotaikai.
Miyabiyama will somehow lose to the big Estonian boy
Kotomitsuki will somehow beat Ama
Asa will crush Chiyotaikai
The Bulgarian boy will find out it's impossible to beat two yokozuna in two days. Or, he will embarrass Hakuho, and go on to a zensho yusho and become a yokozuna himself in another few bashos! The boy made a complete turnaround, hasn't he? If I had to put money on it, though, I have to go with Hakuho today.
I don't believe this! This is turning into the best basho I've ever seen!
Good thing I didn't actually bet money! Ha ha ha!
This basho is now the Bulgarian boy's to lose.
Kotooshu is talking to god! Do not underestimate the guy. If he is in a good shape (not injured) he should be yokozuna soon! Kaloyane, show them Bulgarian power and end it up 15-0!

I can't believe Asa lost to the Bulgarian boy. Well, on second thought the Bulgarian boy IS bigger than Asa. It's up to Hakuho now to restore order!

He's rather 'light' in relation to how tall he his. Good for him on his next step to Yokozuna.

Never saw a smile like that on Kotooshu right after a match before. For that matter on any other wrestler. Big win!

I think Kotooshyu added a few kilograms and now his body is more balanced. Still very handsome. Is there a title Mr Sumo?

Wow!
Kotooshu just hammered Hakuho
And Chiyotaikai did the same to Asa.
