Las Vegas is a renowned sports event town - people will flock to it for sports events like boxing title matches.
But it remains to be seen whether people will flock there when games are every other day for a whole season.
Like the Arizona Coyotes found out.

I am an American but, really, there are too many American teams now. San Jose and Tampa Bay were bad enough and now Las Vegas. Do they even know what snow looks like? Enough already!

Except UNLV sports, there is no sport event in Vegas.
This will be crowded any time.
