A pity they didn't sew it up. It was a decent game and that's unusual for a game at Old Trafford. Bad refereeing again - Fellaini and Rooney should have seen red ( how the hell Rooney got away with the blatant pull on the shirt is beyond me ) and then the ref didn't give a pen at the other end.
I hope Kante gets the sport writers' player of the year. I can't remember him having a less than above average game.

how typical of soccer. they will back into a championship courtesy of another team.

Not sure how that is typical of soccer, but if your nearest opponents are unable to match what you have already achieved, then you are worthy winners. If the first competitor in high jump, long jump, javelin etc records the best score which nobody else can equal, does that mean the first competitor is 'backing in' to the title?

What? In English Premier League football we have a league decided on points. The team which gets the most points over 38 games wins the title - that's about as fair as it gets. We also have knockout cup competitions if that's more to your taste. International tournaments like the World Cup are also on a knockout basis when you reach the last 16.
It seems you hate this but this sport and this league in particular are spectacularly popular. There must be a reason for this.

It is football my good man, football.
Heres a challenge. Name the last Major League sport where one of the smallest teams with no finance compared to the multi-million dollar franchises, won a championship? With unfashionable players and a small stadium? This Leicester team should be sports team of the year worldwide. Stick that on your Sports Illustrated..

Vardy got the sport writers' player of the year. He's been superb on the pitch ( a bit too much of the diving ) but that racist incident is a nasty one. Maybe I'm being a bit too critical but Kante would have been a better choice for me.

In France, a few years back Calais, a non-league football club reached the final of the French Cup where they lost 2-1 to Paris Saint Germain. Leicester City's success is refreshing in a sport that has become dominated by teams that have enormous financial resources. What strikes me most when I watch them is that the players seem to be enjoying themselves.
