    The timing of this decision/announcement doesn't make sense. Pre-season training is almost done and the season starts in a couple of weeks. Everyone, including Freddie, knew that Shimizu would not be in the ACL around October, about 4 months ago!!

    Good on him, probably realised that earthquakes, tsunamis and radiation were not conducive to a happy family life. I don't understand why more foreigners just leave this blighted archipelago.

    I said it as soon as his move to S-Pulse was announced that he would fail to impress. I'm just surprised it took this long for S-Pulse to realise he was no good.
