Ralph Lauren was one of the first, if not the first, big clothing designers to manufacture in China about 20-25 years ago.

The Chinese will be wearing made-in-USA Nike outfits. Wonder if they'll react by burning them in retaliation.

US politician nowadays behave like little kids. Do they have anything more important to do? you are right akkk1, Chinese can burn all Nike that made in USA or other products come from USA as retaliation. However, I do not think that Chinese care about it. Let USA burn the cloth, who care?

Has Mitt got any of his well-manicured fingers in the Ralph Lauren pie?

What's the big deal? Do they want to pay three times as much for made-in-USA uniforms?

I have a considerable amount of Nike athletic wear/gear and can't remember the last time I saw a Nike garment or shoe that was Made in the USA. If the Chinese burn their Nike stuff they'd be burning Made in China, Vietnam, etc.

We can't risk any wardrobe malfunctions during the opening ceremonies.

U.S. should just wear Red White and Blue T-shirts that saids "USA" and Levi pants made in U.S.A. This complaint is a symbol of continue problems with China. The U.S. assesses a tax of only 2.5 percent on imported cars, SUVs and minivans, while China imposes so many taxes on imported models that a Jeep Grand Cherokee that begins at $28,120 at dealerships in the U.S. costs $85,000 or more in China.
