The way Van Gaal was treated is one of very little respect. I very much doubt Mourinho can solve MU's problems.

The way Van Gaal was treated was appalling. ManU has no class. They have lowered themselves to the same level as all the other big clubs: the gutter.

I would argue that at least Man You are proactive in sensing that a potentially better manager is on the market (Jose) and that they would lose out to another club if they did not act. At Arsenal the board have missed out on 'potentially' getting Klopp, Guardiola, and now Mourihno just to wait for Wenger to see out his contract, despite not winning anything this season. By the time Wenger goes there would be nobody decent to manage and Wenger has done "a Fergie" by ensuring that nobody decent will be available to come in and do a better job.

People were calling for Man U to fire Van Gaal mid-season
Why cry over this now

Top 4 will suffice next season. Appointing Jose shows that Man U are prepared to accept his style of football to get a CL place.

Firing Van Gaal was all very well. But it was done with no class. He got fired after winning the FA cup, and then finding out via the media before the club officially told him.
