I wonder if it's even possible to control. Perhaps a more radical approach. Openly admit that match fixing probably goes on and that nothing will be done about it. That should stop most sensible people placing bets, and the problem goes away. There may be fewer sponsorship deals as a result, but is that such a bad thing. Those guys get paid too much already.

$100,000+ is not really that much money. With NFL millions are betted on almost every game. Seem to be trying to make something big out of nothing here.
