    Yup, and no word on how the other 9 runs scored.

    I understand how the Japanese-language press can be so myopic, but does anybody think the English-language community cares more about Matsui/Ichiro/etc than the rest of MLB? Quite frankly I'd rather hear much more about NPB as that actually involves Japan. Yankees news isn't Japanese news to me regardless of the passport of the player.
