Quality win against a high-caliber team by Matsuzaka. He pounded the strike zone and was extremely efficient (104 pitches in 8 complete innings) and allowed only 2 hits and 2 walks. A rotation of Lester, Dice-K, Wakefield, and Byrd does has a good shot at making a strong push towards the playoffs.

Amazing that he's "won" so many games when he's been taken out of the game about an hour before the finish due to his poor control resulting in a tired arm.
