The Blacks are definitely resting players - nothing wrong with that though. All teams are doing it - especially against the minnows. Let's be honest here - The All Blacks could name 3 or 4 different teams that would probably make the final at home!

BurakuminDes - Will remember that quote for a few week's time. Might come back to bite you ;)
While it's true that the majority of teams rest players in competitions to an extent, I'm not a huge fan of it. At the end of a season or something, I can see resting your players for a week has its benefits, but I'd much prefer my teams to field their strongest team possible at all times. Kind of why this year I've been even more impressed with Wigan's Superleague season than last.
So not that I'd wish injury on anyone, but I hope they are injured and not just being rested for a more competitive game.

Listen up guys if you had just had 15 big ugly mean Tongans running at you trying their best to hurt you as much as posible the week before you might have a few bruises too and appreciate the time to recover properly, how about cutting some slack, or go to a south auckland pub and give some cheek to the locals so you can see what 15 tongan blokes can do to you. lol

Mate - having seen that mob (or their cuzzy-bros) in Once Were Warriors - I think I will stay well clear of their pub!

Why do they even need to give any explanation ? Can't they not rest their best players againts weaker teams ? I don't see anything wrong with it. They can also test younger, unproven players and see how they do. And I don't see how Team Japan has any problem with this either, they would rather lose 0-80 than 0-150 like last time LOL
