Horse racing, dog racing, boxing etc are all barbaric sports where animals or humans get injured or die because people wager/bet on whether they win or lose. The stock market is another example of betting/wagering against odds that your horse will come in first. The world would be a better place without these sports or institutions.

125 horses died on Australian tracks between August 1 last year and July 31 this year.

That's an awful lot of horses! I wish they'd ban whips in horse racing. Better yet, I wish they'd just ban horse racing period.
