Nakata cafe opens for limited time for World Cup
TOKYO —
Former Japan soccer star Hidetoshi Nakata has opened a cafe in Tokyo’s Harajuku area, which will be open daily until the end of the World Cup in South Africa on July 12.
This is the third time for Nakata to open “nakata.net cafe,” following 2002 and 2006. There will be 64 World Cup matches broadcast in the cafe. The address is Jingumae 1-22-6, Shibuya Ward. For more info, visit http://nakata.net/jp/cafe/index.htm

Well I'll be because I didn't know his cafe was seasonal...The last time I was there was in 2002 and it was spectacular!

Presumably this "cafe" serves beer, beer and more beer - because that's what all the punters are gonna be calling for! It would be a good place to go and cheer on the Socceroos with a group of 40 or 50 Aussies in green and gold!

Northlondon - not only do we know what soccer is all about, we cheer on our national teams with a passion. We just don't seem to have the negativity the English have ie booing some of their own players onto the pitch. And I'm sure I don't need to remind you of the score the last time Aus played Eng. in soccer : 3-1 to the super Socceroos!
