What an upset! Wow! And to think that this was the same Netherlands team that didn't really do all that well in the Olympics. Congrats to them on a fine job; especially in the pitching department. To be able to contain the bats of Ortiz, Jose Reyes, Ramirez, and Miguel Tejada, is just amazing. And to think the Dutch team won against them twice! I just wish I could have watched this game.

That was an awesome feat. I loved watching it. The Dutch players went rightly nuts after wards. This has been a good tournament so far.

The ultimate upset. Beating a team with 23 major league players (the Dutch with only 2) is no mean feat. Beautiful. No let's see how they do against Puerto Rico on Wednesday.

WOW!Congratulations to the Netherlands for putting the Dominican Republic in its much-deserved place out of the WBC.
The Dominican Republic came into the tourney unprepared mentally and physically and got humiliated-worse than the U.S. did three years ago.
Good luck to the Netherlands!

As a Dominican myself, I have to admit... what an embarrassment!
But I applaud the Dutch team. I'm glad that they pounded the Dominican team because they were to over-confident and to prideful. They though that just because some of them play in the MLS is enough to get them by the WBC.
Teams like that don't deserve victory. Go Dutch team!! :-)
