"32-19"
What a beating.
"a crowd of 44,449"
What a crowd.

Congrats to NZ. The best team won. I wonder what percentage of the crowd were Japanese?

the real score was 32-12. Australia did not score a try. The TMO should have called it.

Watched it on TV - glad I did not pay for a ticket as it was a pretty lack luster game with lots of mistakes.
The ref tried to keep Australian in the game but to no avail. However, having said that I am surprised he did not red card Sivivatu - damn lucky he did not put that guy in hospital!

I dont think that it was such a good game. It will be difficult for rugby to become popular outside of the few countries it is currently played in. Most of the crowd were from nz or australia. looks like there will be a lot of schoolkids filling up the grounds for the world cup when it is played here. Good luck.

I was there and it really lacked atmosphere. It was 90% Japanese fans of course, and one of my farts was audible 5 rows back. No noise equals no atmosphere, and I would have been better off saving the money and watching this on TV with a 6 pack of Guinness.

This was on in a bar and I asked some Aussies about the rules and they didn't know as they had never seen a game. They said it was only played in a couple of states and way down the pecking in order for popular sports. I was kinda surprised the way it was showcased. You'd think it was some big deal.

rugby is probably about the 7th most popular sport in Australia so it isn't surprising not many people know the rules.

Yeah, that's what they were saying and if that's the case, Aussies have good taste putting it at the back of the line. Nothing at all interesting about this sport and it's just played by middle-class school boys right?
Take it back to the South Pacific you guys. Yaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwn....
