And they couldn't see this coming? After how many years of planning. For a city of only 1.4 million or so, Auckland has an atrocious public transportation system.

I'm sorry that it didn't work for that small group

2,000 people is a "small group"?

Explains the uselessness of Keys govt. Also, Nothing has been sorted out in NZs second city Christchurch after the disastrous earthquake, the hotels have been ripping people off and social services have been cut to the point where demonstrations are happening.

2,000 people is a "small group"?

Yeah, I thought that was unnecessarily added. I guess out of 60,000, 2000 = 3.3%. So technically true, but that won't appease anybody.

It was unfortunate and shows that NZers usually dont have the people all wanting to use public transport at the same time, how would they managae tokyos commuters ?

Asagao Key has doen an amazing job digging nz out from under the rubble of crap helen clark left nz and it will take awhile yet, they say 5 years before they can undo the damage that mole clark did to the country.

CH CH is being handled fairly well, are you there do you have first hand experience? NO.

Tell me when the left werent demonstrating, (no reports of mass demonstrations in NZ Asagao, where are you getting your news from )social services need to be paired back as helen had given out way to much. John Key is very popular and NZ never did so well as it is doing now under helen clark.

Why did they stay on the trains?

From what I understand, nobody wants to be leader of the opposition because they know that they will lose the next general election which is strange considering Key has been accused of doing such a terrible job.

Key is doing a great job if you ask the average guy in the street with a brain, hard core labour supporters still wish helen was around to hold their hand and wipe the dribble from their chins though.

Surprised nobody has yet raised the "Japan" should have held this event anyway card yet. Oh! Guess I just did. 2000 extra in the train system here is a drop in the bucket.

Still, the event is going smoothly other than that. It's just a sporting event after all...(he said, innocently expecting no response)

As I kiwi I kind of imagined beforehand there would be some embarrassments. NZ has a "she'll be 'right mate" attitude that isn't really conducive to running a hiccup free event.
