TOKYO —
Teenager Kei Nishikori and world No. 5 David Ferrer of Spain are among the notable players scheduled to play in the upcoming Japan Open, the Japan Tennis Association said Thursday.
Juan Martin Del Potro of Argentina and former world No. 1 Andy Roddick of the United States are also in the 39-man field for the Sept 29-Oct 5 ATP event at Tokyo’s Ariake Tennis Forest Park, which will also include Beijing Olympic silver medalist Fernando Gonzalez of Chile and Australian Open runner-up Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France.

Oh phew, I thought Kei had been drawn against Ferrer, just going from the headline. Ferrer won't want to be losing to Kei again quite so soon.. But Nishikori can take him
