Nishikori not disappointed with Australian Open loss

...but J-media and fans are very much disappointed.

Nor should he be disappointed in the least. It's the fans via the media that are probably moping about and have sworn off sports after this and the Samurai Blue lost out, and that is entirely their fault and no one else's. I'm glad this young man doesn't let him get to it, and losing to the fourth seed is nothing at all to be ashamed at. We've seen even better players crash out already.

In any case, he's a great guy, and a great player, and he'll do just fine yet.

On the plus side, I know a whole lot of self-made braggarts who will be a little quieter this week.

Just because one thing doesn't go right doesn't mean your tennis career is ruined. Stay positive. Never, never, never give up. No matter how long it takes it will get better. He should be proud of the progress made so far in his tennis career. Best of luck to Kei Nishikori in all your future endeavor to win a grand slam.

Good attitude. He is just a kid and still has at least 10 years to win plenty of Majors. Looking forward to Kei and Aussie kid Kyrgios dominating for the next decade!
