And playing/winning against an under 23 AU side is a good warm up to play USA, Netherlands etc?

Japan - a world beater in practice games but a choker when things start for real.

Okazaki fires Japan....very powerful headline but the fact of the matter is 'it was an accidental win' !

Another friendly match at home too bad the olympics is not taking place here in Japan. Since Sorimach took over the olympic they have played close to 30 matches no other team in the world has even half the number of matches Japan has played. Anything less than a semi final finish for the world's most prepared team "Sorimachi Japan" will be deemed a failure.

I am so happy that Japan beat Australia in soccer. This is so sweet revenge to all very conceited Australians who made fun of the Japanese soccer abilities and thought that Australian soccer teams are competitive.
