What happened to Kitajima? I don't even see him mentioned here. Good that Phelps and Lochte have a friendly rivalry.

He placed fourth; just missing out on a medal in the 100 m. breaststroke. World record holder, Rickard placed fifth. It was in yesterday's JT news and on TV. The win by the Brazilian Cielo in the 50 butterfly garnered more headlines as he won despite the criticism by the media and fellow swimmers on doping charges against him. If you want to keep up with all the results and news about the World Swimming Championships, you can follow it every night on Asahi Television. It's been running every night and starts at about 7:00pm., I think. I've seen some really good races, such as that awesome win by that South Korean monster swimmer Park Tae-Hwan in the 400m freestyle. Many of these swimmers are nearly 2 meters tall! The Aussie relay team win over the U.S. (they actually placed 3rd) was thrilling as well. If you're not watching, then you're really missing out.

Does Phelps still have the hunger for success? Sounds like Lochte has it now.
