Next poll question, How much in extra taxes are you prepared to pay to host the games? That will never happen! What a huge waste of public money these games are. Have them in one place every four years, God knows the Greeks need the money. How about at Olympus and Athens?

So more money that could go towards actual reconstruction in Tohoku will be wasted under the guise of representing recovery? Great!! And how many people 'nationwide' were polled? and were they told how much it would cost them?

Waste of money for everyone. The Olympics does more harm than good. Keep it one place all the time and stop the corruption and tax burdens that usually follow suit wherever the Olympics rears it's head.

How many in Tokyo support it? Is the Olympic committee aware that the governor of Tokyo ordered the burning of radioactive debris in incinerators throughout the area that have no provisions for handling radioactive materials? That the radiation levels even as far as Tokyo mysteriously go up when there's an earthquake in Fukushima? That Ishihara's going to move the fish market to a toxic waste dump?

Tokyo's loss to Rio de Janeiro surely had nothing to do with local support. It was too close to the Chinese games, it was a weak bid and it never had the faintest chance of winning. It cost more than a billion yen, most of which is unaccounted for, and there is a massive risk of a huge earthquake here, making Tokyo a dreadful choice for an Olympic City.

To be honest I do not even believe this poll.
