Good god ! It's only May and Matsuzaka has gone pffflllt ! Twinge in the back ? Bucksnort !!! Try a rotater cuff ! Serious stuff ! Explains why he has had no control all season ! And how about this "vote of confidence" from the skipper:

"Asked what the loss of Matsuzaka does to the rotation, Francona replied, "Nothing for right now, just keep everybody on track. On Tuesday, we'll need a starter [against Tampa Bay]."

Yep... "nothing" ! As in, "Matsuzaka isn't all that important to this team" !

What a disappointment "Dicey K" has been. Ya gotta feel for the RedSox nation that got duped into the hype.

Matsuzaka may consider putting an end to this season with **undefeated **record.

I am not the biggest Matsuzaka fan around, to be sure, but some of you guys are a bit ridiculous in your constant criticism of him. His first season was not more than average by the numbers, but he is 8-0 with a sub-3 ERA so far this season.

Injuries are just a part of the game, especially with pitchers. Look at Beckett to start the season, or how Schilling is trying to see if he has anything left at age 40.

Ease up a little on Daisuke Matsuzaka.

"Ease up a little on Daisuke Matsuzaka."

What the frack for ? I'd suggest you ease up on Schilling first ! After all, the guy is 40 years old ! Matsuzaka at 27 is in the prime of his sporting career... and he pulls up lame ? Lame indeed ! Whatever happend to the stories about how he pitched 20+ innings at the high school championships ? Those have suddenly gone quiet, and now we know why... arm fatigue ? Shouldn't the Bosox brass now be talking about a possible dead arm and maybe the end of this guys career. Face it, he was a risky proposition from day one, especially the news about the long outings on the mound. The japanese way of "yakyu" has possibly killed his arm at 27, only time, and some American medical miracles, will tell. In the meantime American scouts looking to Japan really need to think about this latest revelation. Kinda like buying a Nissan Caravan in 2003 only to have it recalled in 2008 ! Imagine that !
