Todd Frazier is an American hero. Everyone in the home run derby was very classy, and you couldn't ask for a nicer person to win it. Great family as well. It's nice to see that the MLB doesn't have the same lack of sportsmanship and off-the-field incidents that the NFL or NBA have. Reminder that the Superbowl literally had players brawling at the end this year.

Also the new home run derby format was a real win for the MLB. Best thing Manfeld has done thus far.

Kinda ironic that baseball, a sport that doesn't really have a time clock - the time clock is what made the homerun derby more exciting and maybe saved it

Way to go Toddfather ! My favorite player on my favorite team since about eight years old ! Just glad they got it in. Cincy was under a severe thunderstorm warning, and indeed, it hit at about two in the afternoon. Everybody thought the HR Derby was gong to be rained out for only the 2nd time in it's 30-year history. The first was in 1988 in guess where ? Yep. Cincinnati ! The weather continues to threaten the actual All-Star game itself tonight. Sure hope they get in the game. Go Frazier ! By the way guys, Todd Frazier starred for the Tom's River Little League team that won it all back in 1998. Who did they beat in the championship game? Yep, Japan !

What a great finish. I wish I had caught that last winning home run ball.
